Easy Fuel Injectors Ltd

Last Updated: August 2026

Easy Fuel Injectors Ltd is a Bosch-authorized diesel service center in Nairobi's Industrial Area. Running diagnostics on your vehicle means we handle information about you and your vehicle's fuel system in the course of ordinary work — not just contact details. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We process personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and are registered with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

1. Information We Collect

Contact Data

  • Name: To identify you and personalise correspondence.
  • Email & phone: To respond to enquiries and coordinate service bookings.
  • Payment details: Processed by our payment provider at time of invoicing; we do not store full card or M-Pesa details ourselves.

Vehicle & Diagnostic Data

  • Vehicle details: Make, model, year, and registration number.
  • Diagnostic readouts: Injector flow rates, pump calibration results, and fault codes pulled from your vehicle's ECU during testing.
  • Service history: Prior work performed, parts fitted, and warranty status tied to your vehicle.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Diagnosis & quotation: To assess your vehicle's fuel system and give you an accurate, itemised quote before work begins.
  • Service coordination: To schedule bay time and notify you when your vehicle is ready.
  • Warranty tracking: To honour the workmanship warranty tied to your service record if you return with a related issue.
  • Safety recalls: To contact you if a part or calibration batch we fitted is later subject to a manufacturer safety notice.

3. Data Protection & Security

Vehicle and customer records are held in access-controlled systems, with diagnostic data from Bosch calibration equipment stored separately from general customer contact records.

Only workshop staff directly handling your vehicle or your account have access to your records, and are bound by confidentiality terms as a condition of employment.

We do not sell or trade your personal or vehicle data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Data Category Retention Period
Contact Form Submissions 24 months from last contact, unless linked to an active vehicle record
Service & Diagnostic Records 7 years, for workshop warranty and statutory tax purposes
Invoicing Records 7 years, per KRA record-keeping requirements

5. Your Rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you may exercise any of the following:

Right to Access: Request a copy of your contact and vehicle service records.
Right to Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate details on file.
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of data we no longer have a lawful basis to keep.
Right to Complain: Lodge a complaint with the ODPC if you believe we've mishandled your data.
